About the Author

Jeff Fehn is a 6’8” former college basketball player who spent about 30 years in advertising, programming, auditing, and IT management before beginning a second career as a church planter and pastor. Music is in his DNA: his mother studied voice and harp at Indiana University and played in the Evansville Philharmonic Orchestra. He has been a lifelong rock, pop, and country music lover ever since getting his first transistor radio as a teenager.

Now retired, Jeff writes for readers who love faith but not overly churchy books, and for those who appreciate spirituality without preachiness. The vision for his work crystallized while listening to “Life Is Sweet” by Jennifer Nettles—a reminder that some of the best theology shows up in songs that aren’t in any hymnal.

He holds degrees from Butler University, Virginia Union University, and Regent University. He still noodles around on the guitar for personal enjoyment and has served on worship teams in the past. Jeff lives in Virginia with his wife of more than 40 years and is the proud father of two and grandfather of four.
